Richard Lissemore is a voice trainer and coach for Broadway and Musical Theatre singing, and owns and operates Lissemore Music Studios in the Washington Heights, Hudson Heights, and Inwood neighborhoods of Manhattan, New York City. In addition to teaching and coaching musical theatre singing, Mr. Lissemore is known for his voiceover work.

you just missed a new york masterclass Vocal Technique and Performance Sunday, July 27, 2008 - 6 pm to 9 pm Studio Theatre This was a three-hour masterclass for professional performers, students and teachers. These classes involve work in vocal technique, musicality and performance and are open to all levels of professional performers and conservatory students. Dancers are most welcome. The focus of the class is the development of the performer as an integrated artist. An accompanist is provided. Attendees are asked to bring two copies of their music, and may sing a full song or a 16-bar or 32-bar cut. Though there is no fee for these classes, reservations are required, as space is limited to 65 people. All attendees are invited to sing. Names are randomly chosen. Mr. Lissemore works with five or six performers as time allows. Auditors are welcome, though the number of auditors is limited.
